Dear Holy Spirit, please teach me how to truly rely on the Lord in this difficult period of my life and to run to Him for help. I want to truly trust His timing, so that on the day He chooses, the burdens and the yoke others have put on me, will be broken. Please show me how to rest upon Jesus, Who has the Spirit of the LORD, the Spirit of Wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of power, the Spirit of knowledge of the fear of the LORD. He has no fear of man but delights in the fear and awe of the LORD. May I only fear the LORD, for that is the beginning of wisdom. I do not want to say with pride and arrogance of heart, the bricks have fallen down around me, but I alone will rebuild with more effort. Instead, I choose to seek You Lord Almighty, I will run to You for help. I give control of my life to You, and I will let Jesus reign over me and my emotions. Lord, I want You to establish and uphold me from this time on, and forever.  John 14:28 Isaiah 10:20,3,27 Isaiah 11:2-3 Psalm 111:10 Isaiah 9:9,10,7
Jesus, You are the light in my world. Thank You.  John 12:46
Dear Holy Spirit, please enable me not to live the rest of my earthly life for evil human desires, but rather for the will of God. For I have spent enough time in the past doing what pagans choose to do. Help me to stand with dignity when they think it strange, that I do not want to behave as I used to, and heap abuse on me. Grant me the grace to respond with gentleness and respect so that I may keep a clear conscience; and behave mercifully for they will have to give an account to You.  1 Peter 4:2-5 1 Peter 3:15-16
I thank You God, that You in Your great mercy, have given me a new birth into a living hope.  1 Peter 1:3
Holy Spirit, please teach me how to bring up my children to not put up with anyone who attempts to enslave them, or exploit them, or take advantage of them, or pushes himself forward, or slaps them in the face.  2 Corinthians 11:20 Luke 12:7
When in my thoughts I ponder the former terror, please enable me to call to mind that my eyes will one day see the King in His beauty.  Isaiah 33:18,17 Revelation 7:17
Be gracious and merciful to me Lord, for I am languishing.  Psalm 6:2
Holy Spirit, please teach me to recognise and resist the devil’s roaring and to stand firm in the faith.  1 Peter 5:9 1 Corinthians 16:13
Dear God, may my beauty not come from outward adornment, but instead be that of my inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in Your sight. I cast all my troubles on to You Jesus, and ask that I may do what is right and not give way to fear.  1 Peter 3:3-4,6
Thank You Lord Jesus that Your grace is sufficient for me, for Your power is made perfect in weakness.  2 Corinthians 12:9
